AES helps education systems develop academic program review strategies by working with vetted state and national partners, and then coordinates timetables and execution across multiple efforts to facilitate successful and enduring reforms.

Tiers and Offerings

AES offers two tiers of support services to public education entities: Full Execution Tier whereby the AES Team conducts a reform effort in a given field from start to finish, managing the project and developing comprehensive deliverables; and a lower Consulting Service Tier wherein clients conduct the reform effort but with the AES Team embedded as full-service advisors.

Pedagogical Strengths Analysis

Teacher quality is the number one in-school factor in student achievement. AES helps education entities identify educator candidate strengths and recommend areas of supplemental supports to help new hires hone their craft.

Standards Review and Revision

Academic standards set the direction for curriculum, instruction, and student outcomes. AES brings collective efforts together to review and revise standards to raise the bar and restore academic excellence.

Professional Learning Reform

The education space is awash in professional development offerings. AES facilitates the curation and refinement of professional development opportunities for schools’ unique goals and needs.

Do No Harm Audits

The intellectual and character formation of children is a serious responsibility for school systems. As with medicine, the first requirement is to do no harm—both pedagogically and with respect to parents as first educators. AES reviews school systems to ensure this is the case.

Curriculum Analysis, Adoption & Development

Many of the conventional curricular options sold to Americas schools are content-light, employ pedagogical practices not supported by the science of learning, and eschew the patriotic civic role of public education. AES provides analysis and facilitates the vetting, adoption, and development of curriculum solutions to address these areas of need.
